What is eGIRO?

eGIRO stands for Electronic GIRO. It is a digital initiative that digitises the GIRO application process.

Payment of centre fees is now stress-free with eGIRO! Experience a faster, paperless way to pay with eGIRO.

Please be reminded that GIRO is the default mode of payment for CLS applicable fees. Parents/Guardians are required to apply for GIRO/e-GIRO.

Important:

Student Care Centre (SCC) GIRO arrangement:

1. You will need to apply for eGIRO arrangement for your child individually.

2. You cannot use the Child Development Account (CDA) to sign up for the SCC GIRO scheme. CDA funds cannot be used for payment of SCC fees, full day surcharges, learning journey fees or other miscellaneous charges.

3. Please note that it is mandatory to have an active non-CDA SCC GIRO arrangement for SCC fee payment.

4. Non-CDA Account holders from the following banks can sign up for the SCC GIRO scheme with CLS through eGIRO:

If you have an account with a bank not listed above, a joint account, or a corporate account, the GIRO application process is different. You need to complete a hardcopy GIRO application form instead.

Kindergarten Care Centre (KCare) GIRO arrangement:

1. You will need to apply for eGIRO arrangement for your child individually.

2. Please note that it is mandatory to have an active non-CDA KCare GIRO arrangement.

3. CDA account is optional. However, the active CDA account will automatically be set as the default KCare GIRO account for payment of KCare fees

4. For children without CDA account, the active non-CDA account will automatically be set as the KCare GIRO default account for KCare fees and other miscellaneous charges (e.g. charges for late payment).

5. Non-CDA Account holders from the following banks can sign up for the KCare GIRO scheme with CLS through eGIRO:

If you have an account with a bank not listed above, a joint account, or a corporate account, the GIRO application process is different. You need to complete a hardcopy GIRO application form instead.

6. CDA Account holders from the following bank can sign up for the KCare GIRO scheme with CLS through eGIRO:

If you have an account with a bank not listed above, the CDA GIRO application process is different. You need to complete a hardcopy CDA GIRO application form instead.

Things to note about your application:

1. Click here to refer to the user guide for the steps to sign up.

2. For some banks, you may need to get ready your physical token.

3. If you encounter any issues and/or require assistance, please contact our centre.

4. Upon submission of your eGIRO application, you will be redirected to the web portal to check the application status. Otherwise, you may log in to this web portal to check the application status within 1 working day of submitting your application.

5. Please avoid submitting duplicate applications for the same request.

By providing and submitting the information as set out on this portal, you consent to Commit Learning SchoolHouse (CLS) and its service providers' collection, use and processing of the information in Singapore and overseas, as well as the disclosure to and subsequent use of the information by third parties, in connection with:

the provision of electronic banking services and for any other purposes connected with your access or use to such services, including setting up the Direct Debit Authorisation (DDA), accessing and using the DDA services, and enabling payment with eGIRO; the monitoring and enforcement of compliance with applicable terms and conditions; and to comply with applicable laws, including anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism laws.

Please ensure that you are duly authorised to submit the information, and such information is accurate and complete.

CLS and its service provider(s) shall not, in any event, be liable for any loss, expense, damage, cost or any other liability incurred or suffered arising from or in connection with (i) any inaccuracy or incompleteness of the information entered by you; (ii) any system, server or connection failure, error, omission, interruption, delay in transmission, computer virus or other malicious, destructive or corrupting code, agent, program or macros; (iii) your use of the services pursuant to which you are providing and submitting the information on this portal.
